Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) will begin accepting Magnet program applications for the 2022-2023 school year on Friday, October 1, 2021. Applications will be accepted through January 15, 2022.

    Students must reside in Orange County, Florida, and be eligible to apply in order to begin the magnet application process.

    For those magnets whose number of eligible applicants exceeds the number of seats available, a computerized lottery will be held in late February, 2024.
    An additional lottery, if necessary, will be held for any remaining spaces in magnets from the eligible applications received during the November 1, 2023, to February 15, 2024, application period.
