Magnet programs are theme-oriented programs that must be accessed through the magnet application process. They provide in depth experiences and distinct choices for students with diverse interests, talents, and aptitudes. All magnet programs fulfill Baltimore County Public Schools’ requirements for promotion and graduation.
Baltimore County Public Schools offers more than 100 magnet programs at elementary, middle, and high schools across the county. Program offerings range from engineering, mathematics, and science to performing and visual arts, as well as International Baccalaureate and career and technical programs.
