Magnus III ( c. 1240 – 18 December 1290), also called Magnus Ladulås, was King of Sweden from 1275 until his death in 1290. [1] Epithet. The origin of the epithet Ladulås ( lit. 'Barnlock') is not known for certain, due to the lack of source material from the latter half of the 14th century.
