Mahesh Jadu (born 26 October 1982 in Carlton, Victoria, Australia) is an Australian actor.
He portrayed Ahmad in Netflix original series Marco Polo.
Jadu's family is from Mauritius and he has Indian heritage, from Gorakhpur and Kashmir. He was raised in Perth, Western Australia.
played poker to cover rent and living expenses until he was called for an audition by the casting director, Lou Mitchell.
He is known to have worked on "The Three Ages of Sasha". He got his big break when he was cast in Roland Joffé's periodic drama, Singularity, which was later renamed The Lovers. The film was delayed for 2 years. He then auditioned multiple times for I, Frankenstein in which he plays the Gargoyle "Ophir". He was later cast in Netflix's, Marco Polo

Jul 9, 2016 · For plot purposes, Kublai needed to be at the Kurultai, but a villainous monologue between the two would have been nice before Ahmed's death. Either way, Mahesh Jadu, like Zhu Zhu, will be missed. Marco, Jingim and Byamba all stayed true to the Khan in the end, even though Marco let his father live after the battle against the crusaders.
