Maine Alpine. Racing Association. To participate in USSA sanctioned events, you must be an active member. You will need to register under the MARA division to qualify for postseason events. It is possible to change divisions during the season but only races completed while in the MARA division will count towards the MARA quotas for postseason.

The Regional Race Teams will ski the entire mountain, including steeps, moguls, powder, trees, jumps and Slalom and Giant Slalom race skills. The Regional Race program serves a wide range of skiing abilities, with an increased focus on cross training, goal setting, planning, and equipment.

R1 GS will be re-randomized (ie bibs 1-80) R2 GS will be reverse order of R1 GS (bibs 80-1) R1 SL will be “butterfly” (bibs 41-80 then 1-40) R2 SL will be reverse butterfly (bibs 40-1, then 80-41)
