Apr 2, 1990 · Hemingway was a giddy 19-year-old when she burst on the national scene as an ingenue in “Lipstick.” The movie was terrible, but she captured the country’s imagination.
This film starts with a very long rape scene that would make you throw up, if this were based on true events. It's not graphic but you can imagine it. Also very interesting and cute at the same time seeing the sisters Margaux Hemingway and Mariel Hemingway (who played Dorothy Stratton in Star 80, something similar with a super model).
