    Mark Burg (born December 9, 1959) is an American film producer and actor best known for his work on the Saw franchise and the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men.

    He was one of the producers of Saw, Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV, Saw V, Saw VI, Saw 3D, Jigsaw, Spiral, Saw X, and Saw XI.

    Mark Burg was born in Hartsdale, New York. He was the president of Island Pictures in the early 1990s and produced many films, such as Basketball Diaries, The Sandlot, The Cure, and Strictly Business, in which he gave Halle Berry her first leading role. In the late 1990s, Burg founded Evolution Entertainment alongside his business partner, Oren Koules. The company produces film and television and manages writers, directors, and actors.

    In 2004, along with Koules and the late Gregg Hoffman, he created the production company Twisted Pictures, which mainly focuses on developing and producing horror films. Burg personally financed the Saw films' production with his partner, Koules. It paid off, resulting in him becoming a multi-millionaire. He has received a ShoWest Award and several People's Choice Awards and had a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for the Most Successful Horror Movie Franchise. In addition, he was nominated for three Emmy Awards and received multiple awards for previous films.
