A native of Riviera Beach, Florida, Dixon earned his graduate degree in the Master's in Management program at Marquette in 2023. He earned his bachelor’s in sports management from Florida International in May of 2020 and a graduate certificate from Marquette in Sports Leadership in 2022.
Greg Smith will be entering his sixth year at Marquette University in 2023-24 and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director, Facilities & Events in November of 2022. For two years he worked as the Assistant Director of Facilities and Game Operations before being promoted to the director position in April of 2020.
He served as head coach at State University of New York (SUNY) at Canton for one year (2004-05). Smith began his coaching career as a graduate assistant coach at St. Lawrence University (Canton, N.Y.) for two seasons (2002-03 and 2003-04).
