If you're getting married in Indiana, you must first apply for a marriage license. It'll cost you $18.00 to $62.00 (based on residency), and you'll have to use it within 60 days. See FAQ Offices.

The license is valid for 60 days, and can be used the same day it is applied for. There is no waiting period. Judges are available Monday thru Friday, 11:00 A.M. to 12:45 P.M., fee is required.
