Nov 22, 2011 · It is a MARS THUG build on a Colt with a bunch of extras, light, holster, mags, etc. I haven't heard too much about MARS but have heard they are top level from the few reports I've seen. I'm trying to see if anyone here has had any experience with one and what they think of MARS work.

Jun 11, 2020 · Don't believe the BS about all the priority guns for SEALS, Spies and other tactical gurus. That is the oldest line in the gunsmith excuses/apology book. Of course the 1911 is an outdated design. It came from an era when weapons were designed to win fights, not to avoid product liability lawsuits.
Mar 23, 2022 · This is a full house gun built by Thompson custom automatics (Tim Thompson) and MARS Armament. The pistol was built on a special run full rail operator from Maryland department of corrections. The only Springfield parts are the frame and slide. MARS golf ball stippled the frame and also the C&S magwell along with blending and beveling it.

Steve has taken care of me two separate occasions on multiple guns. BUT… my work was small compared to the rest of you. Sorry that everyone has not had that same positive experience.
Nov 22, 2012 · This is a Mars Armament built Colt Rail Gun frame with a series 70 slide. He is calling it his new Rana model. A buddy and I spec'd out the whole build exactly how we wanted it as our "ideal combat pistol".
