As part of the story Caidin gives you a lot of background on the planes and some of the tricks they used to take advantage of their planes strengths. Good character devopment.

I enjoyed this fictional account by the great writer Martin Caidin. Rarely have I read anything by him that I haven't enjoyed, but this was very much one of those books you don't like to put down and have a moment of regret in reaching the last page. Some of his descriptions require reading a second time while enjoying the imagery they produce.
