Norris is the only coach in program history to take the Cardinals to MAC regular season and tournament titles along with three berth’s to the NCAA tournament (2016, 2021 & 2022). He has coached the Cardinals to an impressive 153-50 (.753) overall mark and a 60-22 (.731) MAC ledger.

BSU's Office of General Council responded to The Star Press' public records request regarding the results of the university's "internal review" that placed Norris on administrative leave in late February.
In two seasons, Norris saw UNC collect a combined 50 wins, while three student-athletes earned five ITA All-America honors. He also served as co-director for the UNC ITA Collegiate Summer Circuit tournaments and was an assistant director at the Carolina Tennis School summer camps and fall clinics.
