Dec 6, 2021 · I have a 2007 Mazda6 2.3L and my boyfriend and I just replaced the power steering pump but it's still leaking. We torqued the crush washers to spec and even put a new hose clamp on the high pressure hose. It has been leaking so much that within a day the reservoir is basically empty.
Mar 8, 2016 · #1 · Mar 8, 2016. I replaced a blown leaking power steering pump over the weekend. I had to reuse the reservoir which appeared to be good and used a new o-ring in between. The new pump is still leaking and it appears to at least be coming from where the top hose attaches.
