Dec 8, 2022 · into the "Roles" setting in your Discord server and giving the "MEE6" role the "Manage Roles" permission. MEE6 can't manage a role or issue roles if it isn't above them. (i.e. giving and removing a role to users). To fix this, you need to go into your server settings, then select the "Roles" setting, and drag MEE6 above your role rewards.

Step 1: Setting up server Discord roles
Create a unique role specifically for the purpose of granting View Channelpermissions. Most communities call this "Verified" or "Members", but you can name it anything you would like. If you don't already have a role similar to this, create a new one! To create a new role go to Server Settings -> Roles -> Create Role. Name it what you like! Your @everyone role should have View channels permission set to off.
