Mar 29, 2024 · Sorry but anything under 3.5 stars tells me you took this movie far too seriously. I legitimately laughed out loud more than once (mostly thanks to Gabrielle Union). Sure a few of the core shticks got old, and the stereotypes were *rough* but this has an undeniable charm.
I saved the best until last, this is a real doozey, Iron Man was released in 2008. Heroic figure made of metal with a man inside, controlling it - ring any bells?? But OF COURSE the Marvel movie draws all the fans. TL;DR Poor timing with release meant Iron Man stole all of Meet Dave's revenue and caused it to bomb.
