Jul 14, 2009 · The blurb on the back cover art for this DVD claims Messengers 2: The Scarecrow is a "chilling prequel" to The Messengers, a 2007 theatrically-released ghost film starring a pre-Twilight Kristen Stewart. How closely this prequel fits in with the original is a little tough to judge, as it's been a couple years since I saw the first go-round.

It should've just been called The Scarecrow. OK, let's say it was. It still doesn't make any sense. There's character's that just pop in and out of the film and are never explained. The plot doesn't make sense. The acting was poor, especially the guys wife (she was a moron).
