Jul 14, 2009 · The blurb on the back cover art for this DVD claims Messengers 2: The Scarecrow is a "chilling prequel" to The Messengers, a 2007 theatrically-released ghost film starring a pre-Twilight Kristen Stewart. How closely this prequel fits in with the original is a little tough to judge, as it's been a couple years since I saw the first go-round.

Aside, from the same piece of land this doesn't in any way tie in with the first one. Oh, sorry, there were some crows. This was a poor attempt at a sequel. Skip it! MESSENGERS 2: THE SCARECROW is an unconnected sequel to the first movie featuring a different story and a different cast.
