Sir Michael Edward Palin, KCMG, CBE, FRGS, FRSGS, FRSL ( / ˈpeɪlɪn / PAY-lin; born 5 May 1943 [1]) is an English actor, comedian, writer, and television presenter. He was a member of the Monty Python comedy group. [2] He received the BAFTA Fellowship in 2013 [3] and was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2019.
