May 19, 2018 · Michael Shuman: Queens of the Stone Age. In my opinion, he is probably one of the best bassists of modern rock. Him and Jon Theodore are the driving force behind the Queens’ sound. I suggest listening to “I Appear Missing” or “The Evil Has Landed” because his bass work in those songs is fantastic.
