The Milwaukee RiverWalk, established in 1993, is a symbol of the city’s commitment to revitalizing the downtown area. It stretches roughly 3 miles along the Milwaukee River, or 20 blocks from north to south, offering stunning views of the city skyline, historic buildings, and natural beauty.
Today Milwaukee's RiverWalk is a shining example of public and private partnership that has turned the river corridor into a lively commercial, residential, and entertainment center. The RiverWalk connects three downtown neighborhoods through an approximately 20-block pedestrian promenade on either side of the Milwaukee River.

The Milwaukee Riverwalk extends from the Historic Third Ward district to Caesars Park near Brady Street. It also links to the Hank Aaron State Trail, Lakeshore State Park, and Erie Street Plaza. There are three segments of the Milwaukee Riverwalk: the Beerline B, East Town (Juneautown) & Westown (Kilbourntown), and the 3rd & 5th Ward.
