WISE is a three-day program taking place October 6–8, for rising seniors to learn what it’s like to be an MIT student. The Weekend Immersion in Science & Engineering program is completely free, including the cost of transportation to and from MIT.
Master’s Degrees. The master’s degree generally requires a minimum of one academic year of study. Admission to MIT for the master’s degree does not necessarily imply an automatic commitment by MIT beyond that level of study. In the School of Engineering, students may be awarded the engineer’s degree.
