moreOne of the three poured-in-place concrete buildings by Henry Chapman Mercer, Moravian Pottery and Tile Works is now a 'working history' repository where artisan tiles are still made as designed by its founder. Though they are copies of its original designs, the pottery and tiles still are among the finest of American Arts and Crafts products. Made from original molds, you can buy them as gifts and install them at your home. During the museum tour, get to see how they are made and installed. Their various exhibits feature mosaics, pottery and tiles. They also hold classes on handpainting tiles, mosaics, tiles and molds. Don't miss the annual Tile Festival when in town.less
