Endless nature-inspired recreational activities abound at the Morris Arboretum & Gardens in Chestnut Hill. Watch for birds soaring amidst the elegant beauty of the 19th-century grounds, complete with a formal rose garden, majestic old trees and unusual plants from North America, Asia, Africa and Europe.
Open Daily. 10 am - 4 pm. Last entry is 3 pm. Seasonal Hours. November - March: Daily 10 am - 4 pm. April - October: Weekdays 10 am - 5 pm | Weekends 9 am - 5 pm. Holiday Closings. The Morris is closed for the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
The Morris Arboretum & Gardens of the University of Pennsylvania (37 ha / 92 acres) is the official arboretum of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Arboretum is open daily except for major holidays. It is located at 100 East Northwestern Avenue, Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
