honestly, based on that description, i would. you should note that the books never really cross over into ‘high fantasy’ and aren’t adult-oriented enough to fully escape many common tropes, but they are very enjoyable nonetheless! I'm a fan of Tolkien and King and loved the Mortal Engines series. I do however tend to lean more towards YA ...
