Over 3,400 people are buried in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Deadwood. It was established in 1878. A statue marks the grave of Wild Bill Hickok. Many visitors leave coins and trinkets throughout the cemetery. The grave of Seth Bullock and wife Martha looms 750 feet above the rest of the cemetery.
