Permalink. MOUNTAIN FEVER is yet another cheap and poor independent-feeling production set mostly in a single room with badly staged direction and a lifeless feel to the proceedings. Apparently there was a flu pandemic that destroyed most of the world's population, leaving the survivors the usual feral bunch.

The largely unlikeable characters and writer/director Hendrik Faller's austere style keeps the audience at arm's length, and the constantly changing colour saturation is an unnecessary distraction.
