Mountain Fever Records was founded more than a decade ago almost by accident. After helping friends and neighbors with their recording projects as a hobby, founder Mark Hodges decided it was time to build a new recording studio. The building that houses Mountain Fever Studios was built with incredible attention to detail and sound quality.
Mountain Fever Records is thrilled to bring listeners long-awaited music from Breaking Grass. The band is known for their exceptional original material and premium stage performances. They are a progressive and energetic group with a large following in both the bluegrass and Americana genres.
In 2017, Mountain Fever Records released the Mac Wiseman album I Sang the Song (Life of the Voice with a Heart) featuring contributions from John Prine, Alison Krauss, Sierra Hull, Junior Sisk, Shawn Camp, and Andrea Zonn.

Mountain Fever Records artists claimed two trophies during last week’s International Bluegrass Music Association Awards held in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
