Myron Daniel Healey (June 8, 1923 – December 21, 2005) was an American actor. He began his career in Hollywood , California during the early 1940s and eventually made hundreds of appearances in movies and on television during a career spanning more than half a century.
Dec 21, 2005 · Healey served in World War II as an Air Corps navigator and bombadier, continuing his military duty, retiring in the early 1960s as a Captain in the Air Force Reserve. He returned to film work after WW2, often playing a henchman. While working in westerns, he wrote the screenplay for "Colorado Ambush," in which he also appeared.
Mar 27, 2006 · One of the Top 10 bad men of TV and film westerns, Myron Healey, has died in Burbank, Calif., at age 82. Healey died at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center Dec. 21 and his family is only now making the news public, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday. His first bad guy role was opposite Johnny Mack Brown in 1948's "Hidden Danger."

One of the most frequently seen heavies in films and television programs of the 1950s, his name is nevertheless well known only to buffs. Occasionally he played minor leads and sympathetic characters, but his stern good looks and rich deep voice made him a memorable villain, particularly in Westerns.
