BRIGHT EYES. After a nine-year hiatus, Conor Oberst, Nathaniel Walcott, and Mike Mogis re-grouped for the release of a new album in 2020 and touring in 2021 and 2022. The new album, Down in the Weeds Where the World Once Was, was written collaboratively in 2018 and recorded throughout 2019, is out now on the label Dead Oceans.

Nate Walcott (born March 6, 1978) is an American musical composer, arranger, pianist, keyboardist, and trumpeter. He has composed the scores for several feature-length films, including 2014's The Fault in Our Stars. He is a member of the band Bright Eyes, and has played in Conor Oberst's Mystic Valley Band and with singer-songwriter M. Ward.
