Explore more than 2,000 varieties of plants from around the world in the 10-acre New Orleans Botanical Garden, one of the few remaining examples of public garden design from the WPA. The Garden features four unique gardens: the Sculpture Garden, the Train Garden, the Japanese Garden, and the Rose Garden, as well as indoor and outdoor venues for events and rentals.
The gardens are exquisitely maintained and each area has a theme. There are lovely Japanese gardens, cacti and succulents, a kitchen garden, rose gardens, and so much more. The walking paths are well-maintained. There is a train garden with historic information and scenes from the New Orleans area.
