NEWFFLA - Rescue Adoption. Newfoundlands become available for adoption from many sources throughout Florida. Once relinquished, each rescue is extensively vetted and evaluated for health, behavior and temperament. This information is used to help find the perfect home for the dog.
Newfoundland Rescue of Florida (NRF) is also committed to providing care for any treatable illness or injury prior to rehoming the dog. Dogs stay in foster for two to three months depending on their needs. Fosters get the “first right of refusal” when the dog is ready for adoption.
