Niall Tóibín (Irish pronunciation: [ˈn̠ʲiəl̪ˠ t̪ˠoːˈbʲiːnʲ]; 21 November 1929 – 13 November 2019) was an Irish comedian and actor. Born in Cork into an Irish speaking family, Tóibín grew up on the north-side of the city in Bishop's Field.
Tóibín was born in 1955 in Enniscorthy, County Wexford, in the southeast of Ireland. [1] He is the fourth of five children. [5] He was reared in Parnell Avenue. [6] His parents were Bríd and Michael Tóibín. [7] He is one of the two youngest children in his family, alongside his brother Niall.
