Brendon appeared, in August 2015, on Dr. Phil to discuss his recent arrests and alcoholism. However, he walked off the show soon after the interview began. Brendon later explained on his Facebook page that he had been drinking before the interview and had felt unprepared to "lay [out] the darkest parts of myself on national TV".
