Nicholas Hammond (born 15 May 1950) is an American and Australian actor and writer who is best known for his roles as Friedrich von Trapp in the film The Sound of Music and as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the 1970s television series The Amazing Spider-Man.
Nicholas appeared on Broadway and on television before he landed the role of Friedrich in the hit movie The Sound of Music (1965). Nicholas made a visit to Australia in the mid 1980s but also did some acting while he was there.
