The Old Lux is excellent. It's a perfect example of an old Springfield restaurant with great food that is much less expensive than you'd expect compared to other spots in town. The service is friendly, and I think the owner knows most of the customers by name. The atmosphere is dark and old, but we'll maintained. There is a great classic vibe.

Apr 1, 2009 · Springfield is lucky to have one of those classics — the Old Lux. Its formal name is The Old Luxemburg Inn, but I’ve never, ever, heard it referred to as anything other than “The Old Lux” — an indication of both the familiarity and the affection with which it’s regarded.
