Night Passage was filmed around Silverton, Colorado in the fall of 1956 using D&RGW 476. With the exception of Diamond Jim Brady - a television pilot, this was the last feature film shot on the narrow gauge for twelve years. The next film would be Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid in 1968.
