The Nissan CD engine is a diesel version of the Nissan CA engine that replaced the Nissan LD four-cylinder engine. They have a cast-iron block and alloy head. Dec 21, 2009 · 2. Are there any other engine applications that might fit in this car? For example, the 2.5 nissan diesel seems to be much more common. Is it a similar motor with a longer stroke? Or is that just wishful thinking? 3. I assume that the CD17 motor was sold in other countries. Is it possible to get versions of this engine from other countries?
