Marc Alaimo in episodes "The Slam, and "Nine Hours," and his numerous Star Trek (TNG) and (DS9) and other TV roles.
Marc Alaimo (Gul Dukat) is such a good actor! He plays the self deluded dictator scarily well. Whenever he has a conversation with someone, I never feel like the person talking to Dukat is in immediate danger. He can laugh and joke and make anyone friendly with him, he's so jovial in a convincingly sincere way.
Yeah, I think he had a super-full career PRE-Trek. There are like 90+ things on his IMDB – everything from soap operas to episodic TV to movies. He was also very involved in theatre as a younger actor. I've tracked down and seen a lot of his movies/eps (it's the pandemic, I enjoy his performances), and he never phones it in. Just a solid actor.
