Mar 12, 2012 · The Old Bridge in Heidelberg. Built in the 1780's to replace the old wooded structure that had been in place, in various forms since the 13th century. Originally it was a wooden bridge built by the Romans in about 200AD but it was destroyed and nothing was used for about 1,000 years.
