Omid was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved to France at the age of five. His family later relocated to California, where he was primarily raised. He attended University High School in Irvine, CA, before studying at California State University, Fullerton.
Omid’s 15 years of on-screen work is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his acting experience. Before making his screen debut, he spent several years honing his craft in theater. However, it seems he hasn’t done much theater work since his on-screen career took off.
Although Omid knew he was interested in acting by the time he reached college, he initially chose to major in advertising. Eventually, he decided to add theater as a second major and earned his degree in 2003. Just two years later, he landed his first on-screen role.
