- PEZ Visitor Center. Right here in Orange is the United States headquarters for a candy icon, with a Visitor Center that exceed expectations. For one thing, you can marvel at the world’s largest collection of PEZ memorabilia, all neatly presented in glass display cases.
- Orange Center Historic District. After World War II Orange began suburbanizing at breakneck speed, but a little patch of the old 19th-century agrarian town remains at the Orange Center Historic District around the Town Green.
- Orange Country Fair. The town’s big annual event takes place in mid-September at the High Plains Community Center, right by the historic district. The Orange Country Fair has a long history, first running from 1898 to 1912 and now enjoying a revival since 1975.
- High Plains Community Center. For the rest of the year the High Plains Community Center is the place to go in Orange if you want to be active. The number of indoor and outdoor facilities will barely fit into this paragraph but includes softball fields, soccer fields, a disc golf course, a fitness center, a gymnasium and two picnic pavilions.

Just west of New Haven, Orange has the perfect small town feel with close proximity to a bustling city. This town remained a simple farming community until the 1940’s when postwar residential construction began. One of the oldest farms in the country still operates here today, Field View Farm, since 1639.
Orange, town (township), New Haven county, southwestern Connecticut, U.S., west of New Haven on the Housatonic River. Originally a part of Milford colony (on land bought from the Paugusset Indians and settled in 1639), it was known as North Milford. In 1822 the latter joined with part of New Haven.
