The Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) is a modern and contemporary art museum located on the campus of the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, California. The museum's collection comprises more than 4,500 objects, with a concentration on the art of California and the Pacific Rim from the early 20th century to present.

- The Orange County Museum of Art may have new digs, but it was originally founded 60 years ago and is one of the earliest contemporary art museums in California.
- Thom Mayne, founder of global architecture and design firm Morphosis, won the competition for the design of the new OCMA in 2007. It’s the first fine arts museum project for the firm, which has been consistently involved with its development from that beginning concept.
- Land at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts was donated to OCMA for its new facility in 2008. The Great Recession stalled the project, then it took time to reach a final design and for the museum to sell its old Newport Beach location to help pay for the new building.
- Ground broke on the new museum building in September 2019. The museum operated from a temporary space at South Coast Plaza Village during much of the construction, but then closed as preparations for opening the new building ramped up.
