Sep 29, 2014 · Use the TV input and ensure you switch the source to TV when wanting to access audio coming into the receiver via that input. Alternatively, connect the STB to the TV via HDMI and then connect the TV's optical audio output to the AV receiver. Last edited: Sep 29, 2014. A.
