Verne is the second main deuteragonist in the 2006 film, Over The Hedge. He is RJ 's best friend and Taylor 's adoptive uncle as well as her sisters. Hammy can be a friend of him as well. Verne is the voice of Garry Shandling and he is a box turtle.
