Feb 6, 2016 · It is located on 850 acres, and is owned and operated by The Los Alamos Ski Club (LASC). Pajarito Mountain first opened November 1957 with no toilets, no water, no grooming, no modern lifts, and a few short slopes. In summer, Pajarito hosts numerous special events, many involving mountain biking.

Pajarito Mountain is in the eastern Jemez Mountains of New Mexico, USA, in Sandoval County, near the "atomic city" of Los Alamos (elevation ~7300'). It is the 149th highest ranked peak in New Mexico. Pajarito Mountain from Caballo Mountain. Fresh powder on Little Mother ski run.

Pajarito Mountain, located on the eastern slope of New Mexico's Jemez Mountain Range, is open Fridays to Sundays, as well as on federal and Christmas holidays. The mountain has an impressive 10,440 foot summit elevation as well as a 1,440 vertical drop over 300 acres of skiable terrain.
