Jun 25, 2015 · The movie itself isn’t a classic, it was actually panned when it came out, the story can be quite hard to follow and the chemistry doesn’t seem quite there between Hepburn’s character Gabrielle Simpson and William Holden as Richard Benson, but it’s in Paris, who doesn’t love to see the Eiffel Tower.
When the deadline is reached the script is still unfinished, but Richard and Gabrielle have fallen in love. Based on the French film La fête à Henriette written by Julien Duvivier and Henri Jeanson (1951). A Hollywood producer hires a beautiful secretary to keep his drunken screenwriter on track.
