Jun 21, 2018 · The Téléferico or cable car connects from 1967 the Parque del Oeste with that of Casa del Campo. The three gun bunkers of the Republican side that are retained of the twenty that were installed during the Spanish Civil War. Its magnificent Rosaleda with more than 15,000 m2 and 20,000 roses from all corners of the planet.
The painter's tomb is made of granite and is covered with a limestone slab which marked his burial place in the cemetery in Bordeaux, where he died in 1828. His remains were later brought to Spain, and in 1919 he was buried in this chapel, chosen as the ideal site for his tomb. Indeed, the church was painted by Goya himself.

This popular ancient monument in Madrid is from the second century B.C. and by the Egyptian state for helping save the Abu Simbel temple was donated to Spain, as well as from being buried under the construction of the Aswan High Dam other monuments and archaeological sites.
As a sign of gratitude for the help provided by Spain in saving the Abu Simbel temples, the Egyptian state donated the Temple of Debod to Spain in 1968. The temple was rebuilt in one of Madrid's parks, the Parque del Oeste, near the Royal Palace of Madrid, and opened to the public in 1972.
