    • What was your first guitar and when did you get it? "I got my first guitar back in 1985. It was made by a company called Memphis. Everything but the fretboard was white.
    • The building's burning down - what one guitar do you save? "My 1979 Gibson Les Paul Standard. It's the first Les Paul I have ever owned and I'll have it for the rest of my life, hopefully.
    • Is there a guitar, or piece of gear, that you regret letting go? Once I acquire a piece of gear, it usually stays put, which can cause a bit of a clutter in the house.
    • And what's the next piece of gear you'd like to acquire? "I have the amp-buying bug at the moment! I just acquired a 1960 Gibson Lancer GA 6 amp. Not sure what the next amp I purchase will be, but that's the fun of it to me.
