Paul Jackson has been a professional paper engineer and origami artist since 1983. He was the first origami professional in Europe. Fine Art trained in the UK, he was one of the pioneers of origami as Fine Art, away from conventional model making.
Paul Jackson was the first person outside Japan to make a career from origami. His ambition was initially met with scorn, but his persistence and three lucky strikes in quick succession meant that he quickly turned his failure into sustained success in the fields of design education, writing and commercial commissions.
