Paul Jesson (born 14 January 1955) is a retired New Zealand professional racing cyclist. Jesson became the first New Zealander to win a stage at a grand tour when he won Stage 10 of the 1980 Vuelta a España .
He became New Zealand’s first ever World Champion at the IPC World Para Cycling World Championships – winning 2 World Championship titles at one event. These titles and gold medals were won in the Men’s 4000m Paralympic Pursuit LC3 and 18km Time Trial LC3.
